With Valentine's day right around the corner, most of you must be busy planning for the perfect gift for your special one. Chocolates, flowers and fluffy soft toys, though the foolproof choice, have become a little cliché. The consideration set has now moved on to gadgets and more gadgets. And in case your loved one loves his/her Smartphone, Lenovo has just the perfect gift for this Valentine's day.

For Lenovo fans, the year 2016 has started on a very promising note. The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note was launched in India this January. The addition of 'Vibe' to the name actually indicates the integration of the note series with the vibe series, according to Anuj Sharma, the Head of Product and Marketing at Lenovo Smartphones in India. Given the success of the K3 Note in the Indian market last year, we are no doubt very excited to know what upgrades K4 note will boast of. The company however insists that the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is not a mere upgrade to the previous model but more of step towards a whole new genre. review-lenovo

The noteworthy features include the fingerprint scanner, the dual front firing speakers powered by Dolby Atmos and the all new TheaterMax VR technology. The Ant VR Headset, also launched at the event, comes bundled with Vibe K4 Note (optional) but will also be available separately. This headset will enhance the TheatreMax Technology built in the Handset. The company did confirm that this headset will be compatible with other Lenovo handsets with 5-6 inch displays, but did not specifically name any. review-health

Though the headset does pique our interest, the handset is what steals our heart. Available in matte black, it looks nothing like the K3 note. Despite the 5.5-inch screen it is quite comfortable to hold due to the good grip provided by the soft touch back. The dual front speakers dominate the front display and sound quite exciting, literally. The metal frames on the side of the phone provides it with a durable feel. The handset is said to have a lighter version of the Vibe UI which will include a Theme centre app allowing users to customize themes on it. The latest feature, the fingerprint scanner, is placed right under the rear camera. The 13-megapixel rear camera and the 5-megapixel front camera do a pretty good job too.
