Chinese electronic major iVoomi has entered into the Indian market, and is now looking to launch a mid-range and budget smartphones, according to the company officials To begin with the market, the company has launched the iVoomi iV505 at the cost of Rs. 3,999, and the smartphone is available via the ecommerce platform ShopClues.
The iVoomi iV505 comes with dual-SIM card (Micro-SIM) slots, and both the SIM’s are capable of supporting the 4G VoLTE networks such as Reliance Jio.
The smartphone runs on the Android version of 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, the smartphone has a 5-inch Quad High Definition(540x960 pixels) IPS display. It is powered and supported by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, which is coupled with the RAM of 1GB.
For optics and photography department, the iVoomi iV505 sports a 5-megapixel primary camera which is on the rear with flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies. It bears a 8GB of inbuilt onboard storage with a option to extend further via a micro SD card of up to 128GB. Apart from 4G VoLTE, other connectivity options on the smartphone include the Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The smartphone measurements are 145.5x72.9x9.8mm with respect to its length x width x thickness, and houses a battery of 3000mAh with support for flash charging which charges the batter quickly. The company is also planning to launch its four new smartphone models in India which is starting from the ranging of Rs. 4,000 to Rs 10,000.
