Xiaomi Redmi 4 has been launched in the country India at an event which held in New Delhi. The company announced about the pricing details and introduced new variants of the smartphone at the event.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 price in India starts at the cost of Rs. 6,990 for the variant with RAM of 2GB and 16GB of internal inbuilt storage. The models with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage is priced at the cost of Rs. 8,999, on the other hand Redmi 4 variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at the cost of Rs. 10,999.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset, which is the newer version of the Snapdragon 430 that is packed in the China variant of the smartphone. It sports a 5-inch High Definition(720x1280 pixels) display with curved glass of 2.5D, and runs on the Android version 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the MIUI 8 skin at the top. The smartphone has provision for microSD cards of up to 128GB capacity; the Redmi 4 features a hybrid dual-SIM setup, so the user can swap the microSD card to use the second SIM card.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 camera on the back has 13-megapixel resolution with an aperture of f/2.2, 5-lens system, PDAF, and dual-LED flash, while the front camera has a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone is also been backed by 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n for connectivity, while the Redmi 4 battery capacity if 4100mAh, with support for fast-charging.
